The Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association has launched a new series dedicated to the all-important backstretch workers at Parx Racing, and also now offers a promotional website called “Let’s Go Racing Parx.”
The series on backstretch workers i being written by longtime writer Dick Jerardi, who regularly covered horse racing as well as other sports during his career at the Philadelphia Daily News. The first installment is available here courtesy of the PTHA website.
The new promotional website, which can be found here, is part of a digital marketing campaign aimed at attracting interest in racing at Parx and horse racing in general. Let’s Go Racing Parx also can be found on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
The photo- and video-heavy website includes includes industry news, general horsemen’s information, Triple Crown Trail updates, and a library of exciting videos, including interviews with Parx horsemen. There also are direct links to “Let’s Go Racing,” a weekly Parx recap show.
