NYRA schedules 202 live racing programs for 2023

The New York Racing Association Nov. 23 announced that it will offer 202 live racing programs at Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course in 2023.

The schedule is as follows:

Aqueduct winter meet (44 days): Jan. 1-March 26 (Thursday through Sunday from Jan. 1-Feb. 12 and Friday through Sunday from Feb. 17-March 26.

Aqueduct spring meet (19 days): March 30-April 30 (Thursday through Sunday).

Belmont spring/summer meet (40 days): May 4-July 9 (Thursday through Sunday most weeks).

Saratoga summer meet (40 days): July 13-Sept. 4 (Wednesday through Sunday and Labor Day Monday).

Belmont fall meet at Aqueduct (28 days): Sept. 14-Oct. 29 (Thursday through Sunday).

Aqueduct fall meet (31 days): Nov. 2-Dec. 31 (Thursday through Sunday).

The 2022 Belmont fall meet was held at Aqueduct as work continues on infrastructure at Belmont. NYRA in a release noted that in 2023 the track’s three racing surfaces will be reconstructed.
