Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association

During a Jan. 14 meeting of the New York Assembly Standing Committee on Racing and Wagering, an official for the New York Racing Association asked legislators to increase the association’s share of a tax on account wagers and to allow NYRA to offer sports betting. The hearing was held to get input from racing stakeholders.
